Essence of the Leone Blu

The name is inspired by the lion depicted in the heraldic symbol of the noble house of Aragona of Sicily, the Acquaviva family.

Our guests, in fact, will be able to admire at the entrance of the house a banner, carved in high relief, which clearly features the figure of a tower, a crown, and a lion standing as a “valiant protector” of the house and which, in its original version, is indeed blue.

Il Leone Blu also features a large, spacious quadruple room, ideal for families and small business groups, designed to accommodate both adults and children.

Culture Room – King Suite with Balcony

For a luxurious and unforgettable stay, we recommend the King Suite with Balcony “Room of Culture”. Elegant and bright, equipped with every comfort, it is situated in an environment with high vaulted ceilings adorned with decorations and frescoes, and natural wood parquet floors. Additionally, exclusively for this room: two balconies with a view of Castello Ursino and a third overlooking Via della Chiesa di San Giuseppe al Transito.

The most important of the rooms, historically used as a reception hall for hosting noble guests, features a double entrance with an elegant anteroom with a modern mirror, private bathroom, and independent balcony. The two finely restored glass doors faithfully recreate the original designs of the era. The extraordinary frescoes in gold and antique pink give the room a sought-after splendor of great charm and of forgotten atmospheres.

Quartos grandes e confortáveis. Host muito simpática. Deu nos boas dicas de locais a visitar. A localização não pode ser melhor. Pequeno almoço ficaria mais valorizado com pão do dia e mais fruta. Recomendo vivamente. Se voltar a catania vou tentar ficar no mesmo lugar.

Von der Fassade und dem Treppenhaus haben wir einen kleinen Schock bekommen, aber dieser uns etwas verunsichert hat. Aber als wir oben ankamen und die Türe sich geöffnet hat, standen wir in einer fantastisch renovierten und eingerichteten Wohnung. Die Zimmer sind alle eins einzelne Gästezimmer mit 2 und mehr Betten eingerichtet. Es gibt einen kleinen Flur ein Eingang und zwei weitere Flure, wo Tische und Stühle stehen, damit die Gäste ihr Frühstück einnehmen können. Unser Schlafzimmer war traumhaft schön. Es bestand aus einem Dippelbett und einer Ausziehcouch. Es war geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Die Betten waren hochwertig und mit hochwertiger Bettwäsche bestückt. Wir haben super geschlafen. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und sehr modern renoviert. Ein Minikühlschrank stand auch zur Verfügung. Das war sehr gut für unsere Einkäufe, die wir auf dem nahegelegenen Markt gemacht hatten.
Der Standort bekommt von uns 10 Sterne, weil er mitten drin ist. Noch näher kann man gar nicht in der In-Szene sein. Tagsüber ist man in 5 Minuten an der Via Etnea und in 3 Minuten auf dem Markt und den super leckeren Fischlokalen wo man mittags und abends mitten im Geschehen ist und sehr lecker essen kann.
Im großen und ganzen ist der Standort perfekt, die Zimmer und der Service top!!! Ach ja und nur 10 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt! Falls ich noch mal nach Catania komme, dann werde ich dieses B&B auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

The owner is extremely kind and made it so we could arrive earlier- the rooms are really quiet and the shutters make sure you’ll be able to sleep in darkness even if it’s still a little bright out. I had to request cancelation from the hotel.
THEY REFUSED!!!
this is the most heartless experience I have ever encountered.
Please ignore booking this hotel. This kind of service should make them go out bussiness.
